Na GaeilCELEBRATION: Our celebration Dinner Dance at the meadowlands Hotel was a tremendous success, with a record number of members attending.

The organising committee added the word CELEBRATION this year, as we felt that the club had a huge amount to celebrate with our Senior team ,ladies,Junior,Juveniles right down to our very talented SCÓR members performing heroically all year.

Theresa kelliher welcomed everyone and spoke about the clubs many achievements and how this was only made possible by people volunteering of their precious time , even if it was just an hour a week but all these hours added up to make Na GAEIL what it is today,a strong vibrant football club.

Chairman Tim Lynch introduced the special guest, Diarmuid Ó Sé vice chairman of kerry Co Board. He then went on to thank all the mentors, managers, coaches ,supporters and people involved in the  lotto , Bingo and other fundraising efforts over the past year.

Tim Lynch Jnr, Chairman of Bord Na nÓg spoke about the growing numbers in our  many Juvenile teams leaving no doubt about the future of the club.

Anthony O Connor presented the Juniors with their medals and spoke very highly about  the dedication of the team. Aidan Carmody then presented the Senior team with their medals, speaking also of their diligence and commitment  to Na GAEIL.

So much so that this year no one player was presented with the Seamus Murphy cup but instead it was awarded to the team as a unit.

Paul Daly accepted on behalf of the team and thanked both management and the club. Our musical entertainment for the night, Heart and soul , had us on our feet all night leading to some highly entertaining dance moves.

Thanks especially to the organising committee Cathy Carey and Tim Lynch for all their hard work making this years Dinner Dance an unforgettable occasion .
