THREE Kerry projects will receive nearly €900,000 under the Embracing Ireland’s Outdoors fund it was announced today by Minister for Community and Rural Development, Heather Humphreys TD.
There will be €200,000 allocated for the Shannon Way ( Slí na Sionainne) in North Kerry, €199,800 for an upgrade of Castlegregory Beach Amenity Area and €500,000 for the provision of changing facilities on North Kerry Greenway.
Embracing Ireland’s Outdoors is a collaborative cross-Government strategy that reflects the views of stakeholders and the public. The new strategy will set the stage to strengthen and support the sustainable development of the outdoor recreation sector in Ireland for years to come bringing huge economic and health benefits to communities across the country.
