DO you know someone in the hospitality industry who is deserving of an award for their commitment to their customers and loyalty to their colleagues?

Nominations are currently being sought for the second annual Connect Kerry Hospitality Awards and the deadline for entries is fast approaching ahead of this year’s big celebration event which will take place at the INEC, Killarney on Wednesday, November 13.

The event organiser and publisher of Connect Kerry Magazine, Margaret Kissane, said: “Kerry’s hospitality industry is admired throughout the country and internationally and it needs to have its own special event to showcase and acknowledge the high standards of product and service provided in this sector.”

A key aspect of the Connect Kerry Hospitality Awards is the public’s role in the process to select the category winners.

A panel of judges will assess the shortlist of nominees in the various categories and the winners will be selected based on a combination of the input from the judges and a public vote conducted through the Connect Kerry Social Media channels.

The deadline for receipt of nominations is Friday, October 25. To nominate someone, simply email the name and contact details of the nominee, the establishment they represent and why (in no more than 100 words) they deserve to be nominated, to info@connectpublications.ie.

Several honorary awards will be announced on the night and of course one person will be recognised with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

“This is an event to honour all those who have contributed to the hospitality industry in Kerry and it is open to everyone who is involved in the Hospitality Sector and we look forward to welcoming nominees, their family and friends to the gala black-tie event to announce the winners in the INEC Killarney,” said Margaret Kissane.

The Connect Kerry Hospitality Awards could not happen without the support of the generous sponsors such as – Dingle Distillery, EF Signs, Kerry Airport, South Kerry Development Partnership, Terra Food and Wines, and many more.
