WITH a vast improvement in the weather on Saturday, the crowds came into town to enjoy a wide variety of entertainment during the morning and afternoon.

Families gathered in The Mall and The Square to see magic shows from Monsieur Gusto and Funky Fi while the aroma of crepes and hotdogs attracted a lot of business for the vendors.

A popular attraction was the Emergency Services Open Day at the side of the Ashe Memorial Hall where the public had a chance to meet members of the gardaí, fire service, army and local sea rescue groups. Scroll down for photos…
