THE beauty of Tralee and beyond was in evidence at a special exhibition in town yesterday as the members of the Inspired group showed their photography talents.
The sun beamed down at No.4 On The Square which proved a perfect location for the exhibition where people were invited to buy the photos to raise funds for the group.
The exhibition was also dedicated to the memory of one of the members, Mikey Hussey, who passed away earlier this year and is much missed.

“The idea for the exhibition came from our two photography experts, Sheila Cremins and Helen O’Halloran, who give a class every Wednesday at the centre,” said Charlotte Dolan, who helps out with the group.
“They go around and take photos of the local community and when the body of work built up it was decided to hold this fundraiser. The members sourced the premises for the exhibition and they printed off the photos. We received spot prizes too from the local business community for the raffle,” she added.
The members head off in the Garda bus once a month to places like Ballyheigue and Fenit to take the photos using cameras which were bought thanks to a donation from the Bon Secours Hospital. Many more photos were taken on trips to the town park, canal or the Wetlands.
Their work paid off as people bought some prints and raffle tickets to raise much needed funds for the group, who thanked all those who helped out including Seamus and Aileen from No.4 On The Square. Scroll down for photos…
