IT’S been some year for Na Gaeil GAA Club.
Just last month they came back from Croke Park with the All-Ireland Junior Club Championship trophy and they’ve been celebrating since.
Over 200 of the the club faithful gathered in The Meadowlands Hotel on Saturday night for the annual social and Chairman Tim Lynch said they could have sold out the event twice over.
“It’s a night for the team rather than the club — there’s no top table, no guest of honour — they won the All-Ireland and we’re all here to celebrate that,” he said. “It’s been the best year ever. What happened this year will be remembered forever by all associated with the club,” he said.
In terms of awards, Cathy Carey received the Christy Nealon Perpetual Trophy while the senior team management were also honoured at the event. Scroll down for photos…
