PHOTOS: John Cleary To Sign Copies Of ‘Tralee In The Good Old Days’

TRALEE photographer John Cleary has a new book in the shops in time for Christmas and he’ll be signing copies of it this Saturday in O’Mahony’s Bookshop from 2pm to 4pm.

‘Tralee In The Good Old Days’ features more than 300 black and white images depicting life in Kerry from the 1990’s to the present day.

It’s his fourth book after ‘Through the Lens’, ‘T’was Only Like Yesterday, ‘As Time Goes By’ were released in the last three years featuring images from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.

As well as images, John has also profiled a number of Tralee personalities including Mark Leen, Oliver Hurley, Eddie Shanahan, Ena O’Shea, Jimmy McDonnell, and Mike O’Donnell.

The book will be on sale at all book shops in town including O’Mahony’s Book shop, First Chapter Book Shop Manor West Shopping Centre, Polymath’s Book Shop, Commane’s book shop Rock St and Cleary’s Photography Russell Street Tralee, also at Quality Framing, Matt Talbot Road, Tralee. Scroll down for photos…
