THERE was a good turnout in Na Gaeil GAA Club on Friday night for a table quiz to help send the club’s Léiriú team to the All-Ireland Scór na nÓg finals next month.
The Na Gaeil (Tralee/St. Brendans) team — made up of Barra Ó Siochrú, Isobel Ní Chonchra, Áine Ní Shúilleabhbáin, Aoife Ní Shúilleabháin, Dearbhla Ní Chuirc, Joshua de Róiste, Emily Ní Chonchra, Liam Óg Ó Cinnseamáin — are off to the Knockrea Arena, Sligo I.T., on Saturday, February 17.
“We’re really excited about it. So far we’ve competed in the regionals, the county semis, the county final, the Munster semi, Munster finals and now the All-Irelands,” said member of the group Barra Ó Siochrú.

“Our act is ‘Irish Mammy On Strike’ which is about a mammy going on strike because she is being treated the way she is,” said Barry.
There was plenty of spot prizes on offer on the night and all at the club are hoping they’ll bring home the title in three weeks time. Scroll down for photos…
