IT was worth the wait.
After a COVID-enforced break of three years, the Kingdom County Fair returned on Sunday and saw thousands of people descend on the Fair’s new home in Ballymacthomas, just outside Tralee.
Punters braved the traffic queues, but it was worth it when they arrived to enjoy the vast array of entertainment for all the family.

There were the usual equestrian events and a wide range of classes for cattle, sheep, goats, horses, and a dog show, amongst the numerous activities on the day. Approximately €30,000 was paid out in prize money across the wide range of classes.
There was also loads of children’s entertainment with mini-amusements, the Fanzini Brothers, arts and crafts and much more. A fantastic success then and well done to all involved in the organisation. Scroll down for photos…
