THERE was great fun at the Kerry College of Further Education (KCFE) on Thursday for their ‘Lip Sync Battle’ in aid of a great organisation.
Organised by Tourism with Business Students in conjunction with their programme co-ordinator Margaret Burns as a fundraiser for Jigsaw Kerry, a number of students and staff took part in the canteen watched by a large crowd.
A performance by the ‘Spice Girls’ made up of Celia O’Shea, Toireasa Ferris, Kieran O’Callaghan, Michaela Brosnan and Michelle Dempsey, especially brought the house down.

The judges — Danny Leane, Miranda Cournane and Rory Sheahan — had a tough choice but plumped for Michael Ahern’s Nathan Carter performance as the winner. There was also loads of spot prizes and €335 was raised for Jigsaw Kerry.
Principal of KCFE, Mary Lucey, commended the students for organising the event which was part of their overall assessment. Donagh Hennebry of Jigsaw Kerry also thanked KCFE for their fundraising efforts. Scroll down for photos and a video of the Spice Girls performance…
