Plans For Bakery And Baking School At Blennerville Windmill

KERRY County Council have plans for developments at Blennerville Windmill.

At Monday’s meeting of the Tralee Municipal District of Kerry County Council, Labour Cllr. Terry O’Brien asked that the Council would give a report on the Windmill and future developments there.

In reply the Council revealed they are progressing a design for extensive upgrading of the existing Blennerville Windmill Visitor Centre.

A planning process for the redevelopment and refurbishment project for the entire site will be commenced during September.

The first phase of the development project proposes a new Bakery and Baking School which has received funding approval under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
