PRESENTATION Primary School, Tralee will hold an Open Morning this Wednesday, February 14, to showcase  all the school has to offer.

Located in the heart of Tralee, Presentation Primary School has a long tradition of delivering an outstanding education to pupils in their care.

Working in partnership with parents/guardians, they provide quality learning experiences that are engaging, enriching and enjoyable through a broad and balanced curriculum.

The staff there would love to meet parents/guardians to discuss their child’s educational development.

Sport: football, basketball, Gymnastics, Golf, Spikeball, Swimming, Yoga, Annual Sports Day.

Music and Drama:  Choir, Dance, Tin Whistle, School Band, Christmas Concert, Speech & Drama.

For Parents:  Parenting Programme, Cookery, Computers for Beginners, English Language, Sewing.

They encourage children to become involved in the extra-curricular life of the school, knowing that developing a new interest or skill will benefit their creativity, communication skills and self-confidence.

After School Club: The After School Club is open on Monday through to Thursday from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.  A light snack is provided with some juice and the children are supported in completing their homework assignments.  There are also a variety of games and activities for children to take part in after homework is completed.

School Garden:  The school garden is a great resource. The children learn to have fun in an ever-changing environment where they come to appreciate nature and the world around us.

Information and Communication Technology:  They have a dedicated Computer Room containing a networked computer system with broadband internet access.  All classes are timetables to use this facility each week.  All classrooms also have networked computer facilities and interactive whiteboards.  This technology greatly enhances the teaching and learning process and allows school to be part of a truly global classroom.

Hannah’s House Montessori Pre-School:  This facility caters for pre-school children and offers morning and afternoon sessions.  It is run by Ms. Elizabeth Coleman who can be contacted through the school office.
