CBS The Green is to showcase its many facilities and attributes during a virtual open night on the school website this Thursday evening from 6pm.

It’s a chance for parents and guardians to have a look at the Catholic all-boys secondary school which is proud of its record in the provision of quality education to families in Tralee and the surrounding area.

Their primary aim is to encourage each student of CBS The Green, to be a self-confident, inquiring, tolerant, positive young man, a well rounded character with an independent mind, an individual who respects the difference of others.

By the time he leaves the school, the aim is that each boy will have that true sense of self-worth which will enable him to stand for himself and for a purpose greater than himself and, in doing so be of value to society.

At the heart of the school is its distinctive Catholic Ethos, which is shown through the excellent relationships which exist between staff and students.

A shared vision for the school is held by staff, students and parents, which has created a very strong caring and cohesive community based on Christian values of love, respect and compassion for others.

The school has highly qualified and committed specialist teachers. It has excellent facilities and has recently benefited from a €5 million capital development. They promote the highest academic standards in The Green with a high percentage of students going to Universities and third level institutions in Ireland and abroad.

The link for the Virtual Open Night will be available on the website www.thegreen.ie on Thursday, November 12th at 6:00 pm.

It will also be distributed via their Facebook page (click here) and our Twitter account. Application forms for prospective students in 2021 are available by email from firstyearapplicationform@thegreen.ie Application forms will also be distributed to your son’s primary school.
