ST. BRENDAN’S PARK FC CLUB NOTES:
The Club recently learned with deep regret of the passing of John O’Flynn, St.Brendans Park, Tralee. John or Johnno, as we affectionately called him, both played and was an officer with us for many a year and was called away much too early in life. Our deepest condolences to all his family and the many, many friends he made on and off the pitch. May the sod lie gently on his soul.
ACADEMY:
Our Academy was back in full swing last Saturday morning after the summer shutdown. Well done to all the boys and girls who turned out to train!

Under 12s(2006)
Our U12A’s (born 2006) will resume on Monday 31st July @ 6pm in CHRISTY LEAHY PARK with Trials . There will be 3 trials and players will be informed after each session if they will move on to the next trial. All players are asked to have shin pads or they will not be allowed to partake in the session. Water is also a must for each individual player. Under 13s(2005)

Under 14s(2004)
Three of our under 14 boys were called up for International assessment(trials) on Sunday, 30th July. All three, Colin Doody, Cianan Cooney and Conor Kerins, represented themselves, the club and the county superbly. We are delighted to see them making waves nationally after the fantastic season they just had! Well done from everyone involved at the club.

Senior Team
The Club is delighted to formally announce that we’ve appointed new Senior A team management team for the coming season.
James O’Sullivan and Paul Duffy are the men who take the helm for the 2017/18 campaign in the #Kdl. With that being said Senior team training –Ahead of the 2017/18 Kerry District League #KDL season we will be hosting open training for all existing/new players.

5K FUNDRAISING RUN
We are holding a fundraising fun run to help continue with ongoing club developments. The run will be held on 13th August 2017 and will be followed by a family fun day with BBQ! The 5k run entry fee is TEN euro for an adult and FIVE euro for under sixteen. Ticket will be sold on the day!
Other News
The new club shop is well under way with construction in it final stages. It is hoped to be completed by the Clubs Annual Open Day which is being held on the 13th August after the fundraising run.
Well done to our own Danny Diggins on his appointment as the Kerry schoolboys and girls soccer league U15 joint Manager along with friend of the club JP Mullins both of whom are UEFA B licensed coaches . Best of luck to all involved from everyone at the Park!
