Lotto:

There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 01, 05, 26 & 28. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Annie Walsh Racecourse Lawn, Michael McCarthy Tonevane, Eileen Carolan Tonevane , Dipo Dairio Tonevane and Sandra O Sullivan c/o Rock St. PO. Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €3,500 and the draw will take place this Sunday night November 22nd in O’Dwyer’s Bar. Lotto tickets are available from the usual outlets or any club officer.

Strictly Come Dancing 2015:

The club are hosting a Strictly Come Dancing event for the third year in a row. It will take place in Ballyroe Heights Hotel onFriday December 4th. Tickets are selling quick and fast like previous years so please contact Jimmy Mulligan on 087-6987700 or any member of the executive if you wish to book tickets. Another way to pick them up is to attend the launch of the event this Friday night November 20th at 9pm in Keane’s Bar & Restaurant, Curraheen. All 24 dancers will be revealed on the night with rumours abound the village and town of who they are. So make sure you attend this Friday night and pick up your ticket for the main event.

Juvenile AGM:

Coiste na nOg is actively planning for the 2016 season.  The Juvenile AGM will be held on Sunday 29th November at 5pm in the clubhouse.  We appeal to all club patrons particularly parents of club Juveniles to attend this important meeting.

The underage academy and all Juvenile teams need assistance to support their activities and achievements.  If you have not previously been involved and would like to be involved in a coaching or administration role or in any post, please contact Mary Wallace or Seamus Murphy.  Training is provided for all roles through Kerry Co Board. All new people are particularly welcome.

U14 Medal Presentation:

Our magnificent U14’s who had a fantastic season will be presented with their medals this Friday night November 20th at 8pm in Keane’s Bar & Restaurant, Curraheen. A well known Kerry footballer will present the medals to the squad so we would like to see all parents and club members to attend to mark what was a hugely successful year for this bunch of young men.

St. Brendan’s N.S. Blennerville

On Saturday 21st November at 3pm, at our school, we are hosting a book launch for the ‘Blennerville School and Community Book- A Story Worth Telling.’ Everyone is welcome to join us. It is filled with history, photos, and personal stories from both past and present pupils, staff and locals who we sincerely thank for their time. It will be on sale on the day at a cost of €10 and comes with a cd with extra photos. The old school will be open for past pupils to take photographs on this day also. Thanks to everyone for sending in their personal photos and articles. It is a great read and the perfect Christmas present this year. Get your copy on the 21st. This will be a final opportunity for people to visit the school. The launch will be followed on the night with a social evening in Quane’s bar and all are welcome.
