Status Orange Rain Warning For Kerry On Wednesday

THINGS just got worse.

While Met Eireann had already issued a Status Yellow Wind Warning for Kerry for tomorrow, they have now added another weather alert during Storm Agnes.

A Status Orange rain warning has been issued for the county, valid from 9am on Wednesday to 3pm later that afternoon. They say there will be spells of heavy and occasionally intense rain, combined with very strong and gusty winds.

Potential impacts include difficult travel conditions, localised flooding and poor visibility. Meanwhile, the Status Yellow wind warning comes into effect from 7am tomorrow until midnight.

Looking at the Tralee area, the heaviest of the rainfall will arrive around 8am and continue to around 6pm, clearing to occasional showers tomorrow evening. Thursday will be a mixture of sunny spells and showers with a mostly dry day on Friday.
