Tralee Bay Swimming Club To Hold Open Days This Weekend

TRALEE Bay Swimming Club are holding two open days from 9am to 12pm this coming Saturday and Sunday, May 7th and 8th.

Anyone interested in getting into sea swimming is invited to come along and find out about the club’s activities. Members are also encouraged to come along and register for the year.

This summer there will be 10 organised swims, two away trips, three barbeques, a summer party and a grand finale evening in September as well as the annual awards night later in the year.

All ages and abilities are welcome with swims and activities to cater for everyone.

“We have one of the best swimming spots in the entire country in Fenit,” said club secretary Antoinette Boyd. “This year there is a big emphasis on having a bit of fun, welcoming new swimmers and ensuring our members have a safe and enjoyable time in the water.”

The club will have a desk at the main beach in Fenit from 9am to 12pm on Saturday and Sunday, May 7th and 8th, with club members there to answer any queries.
