A TRALEE company is among the finalists for the third annual Pakman Awards sponsored by Repak.
Dillon Waste is shortlisted in the Waste Recycling and Recovery Facility of the Year.
The Kerries based business will be hoping for repeat of their 2015 success when they won the top award in the ‘Waste Collection Operator of the Year Award’ for Small to Medium Business category at the awards.
The Pakman Award, which is the overall winner’s prize, will also be presented on the night at the awards night at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin on Thursday, October 26.
This award is applicable to each winner from the 13 categories and will be judged based on the outstanding contribution made through environmental and sustainability efforts.
The Pakman Award is one of the highest accolades any organisation, company, community group or individual in Ireland can achieve for their environmental and sustainability efforts.
