THE number of people signing on the Live Register in Tralee in June has increased for the second month in a row according to the latest data from the Central Statistics Office.
There were 3,746 people on the register in June, an increase of 20 on the May figure. It’s a 12.5% drop on the June 2017 figure of 4,274 (-528).
Countywide, the jobless figure in Kerry has fallen 15% in the past year with 7,599 people signing on in April.

Elsewhere, Killarney, Kenmare, Cahersiveen and Dingle showed modest decreases, Killorglin was unchanged while Listowel was up around 20.
