TRALEE Local Employment Services (LES) held a fundraising coffee morning last Friday and the fruits of the success of the event were presented at their office in North Circular Road on Thursday morning.
The event, which raised €691, was to help buy gifts for children at the ADAPT centre on the Killeen Road and the money was used to buy vouchers from GameStop, Argos and Smyths Toys.

Co-ordinator at Tralee LES, Elaine McKenna was delighted with the fundraiser where staff wore their Christmas jumpers and served up some tasty treats to local organisations and businesses.
“We’re delighted with the generosity of all those who attended and supported and wish to thank all those businesses who donated spot prizes for the raffle,” said Elaine.
Emma O’Mahony and Marian Hogan of ADAPT accepted the vouchers on behalf of the shelter.
“We’re so appreciative of what Tralee LES has done for ADAPT. It was a brilliant morning and we’re grateful that we were the recipients of the collection,” said Emma.
