Tralee Woman Appointed To Board Of Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists

A TRALEE woman has been appointed as the first Kerry representative to executive board of Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Dr Corinne Evans, who is based in High Street been a full practising member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists since 1995.

“I am thrilled to have been chosen for the executive board to be the first Kerry representative at board level to this professional body,” said Dr Evans.

“It is a great honour to have been chosen for this position and I look forward to flying the flag for Kerry at my first board meeting in the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin on the 17th of January,” she added.

The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) is responsible with the approval of the Minister for Health, for accrediting entry to the practice Physiotherapy programmes in Irish Universities.

The society is also the designated authority for the review and validation of qualifications obtained outside Ireland.   ISCP is the national professional body representing over 3,400 Chartered Physiotherapists in Ireland.
