Trip To Milan Up For Grabs At Ladies Day In Killarney

WOMEN from all over the county will be flocking to Killarney Racecourse later this month with a chance of a trip for two to Milan up for grabs for the winner.

Celebrities attending the Dawn Milk Ladies Day at the Killarney Races on Thursday, July 16 will include Glenda Gilson, of TV3’s Xposé and this year’s reigning Rose of Tralee, Maria Walsh who have been announced as judges.

The Best Dressed winner will receive a trip for two to Paris and a specially commissioned vase while the winner of the Most Stylish Hat will receive a trip for two to Milan and a specially commissioned vase, with prizes for runners-up in both categories.

“I cannot wait to see all the ladies in all their glory at the Dawn Milk Ladies Day at the Killarney Races,” said Ladies Day Judge Glenda Gilson. “There’s nothing better than race day, as it’s time to get competitive in the style stakes. All I will say is do not forget your hat.”

The four day Killarney July Racing Festival commencing on Monday, July 13 will combine the very best of horse racing with a fantastic festival atmosphere for all racegoers.

A family evening in association with ‘A Time to Party’  will include Bouncy Castles, Rodeo Bull, Face Painting, Activities Area and many more fun activities to get the festival off to a start on the Monday.

Day three of the festival will see Killarney Racecourse will play host to some of the 2015 Rose of Tralee contestants who will be mingling with crowds throughout the enclosure.
