Wind Warning In Effect For Kerry Until Tomorrow Afternoon

WE’RE only after finishing with a rainfall warning last night and now Met Eireann have issued one for high winds for the county.

A Yellow Status Wind Warning for Kerry, Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Clare took effect from 2pm on Thursday to last until Friday at 2pm.

Southerly winds 55-65 km/hr, gusts 90 to 100 km/hr will affect Atlantic coastal fringes of the West and Northwest.

Friday will be bright and blustery with some sunshine and scattered showers. The showers will be heavy at times.

Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 C in moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty south-westerly winds.
