A WOMAN aged in her 8os has died in a fire at her home in west Kerry.
The alarm was raised around 9pm last night when a fire was reported at a house near Ballyferriter.
Two units of the Dingle Fire Brigade arrived at the scene and two units of the Tralee Fire Brigade gave assistance.
Shortly before midnight fire crews discovered the woman’s body in the farmhouse.
The house has been preserved by gardaí.
