A LOCAL business has decided to raise funds for two cancer charities by staff taking part in a ‘Shave Or Dye’ challenge.
Kellihers Crash Repair at Rathass in Tralee wanted to raise much needed funds for Recovery Haven and Comfort for Chemo and so far they have raised over €2,000.
“We are a main Toyota dealer here in Tralee and between our sales, service department and crash repair team we have 15 willing models with plenty of hair to cut and colour as a result of Covid so we decided to this for a good cause in our locality,” states the message on their gofundme page, which can be accessed by clicking here.

“Please give us anything you can as it all helps – lots of things have stopped due to COVID but people still get sick, money still has to be raised so that is why we have decided to try and help,” they said.
Good Friday is going to be their ‘Good Hair Day’ with staff bringing in their clippers and they’ll have to do it themselves due to public health guidelines. It’ll be interesting to see how it all turns out!
