THE 10th anniversary guided walk of the Kerry Camino, taking in Tralee – Camp – Annascaul – Dingle, took place over the weekend.
There were 200 walkers gathered at St. Johns Church on Friday, with Mayor of Tralee, Mikey Sheehy sending the group on their way in favourable walking conditions.
Friday’s route was from Tralee to The Railway Tavern in Lower Camp taking in Tralee Town Park, Canal Bank, Blennerville, and Tonevane before setting off over the Sliabh Mish/Dingle Way path to Curraheen, Derrymore, Killelton and Camp.

Saturday’s trek saw an extra 50 walkers join the route from Camp to Annascaul, via Inch Beach while Sunday saw over 250 walkers journey from Annascaul to Dingle, via Minard and Lispole.
Certificates of Completion were presented to all the participants at the Church of St. James in Dingle. The event was a huge success with many walkers having already booked their accomodation in Tralee hotels for 2024. Adrienne McLoughlin took some photos on the Camino over the weekend…
