TRALEE Warriors are looking for a new main sponsor after financial problems with Irish TV caused them to pull funding.
The hugely successful new team in the Men’s Superleague has been enjoying massive crowds at their matches and they are searching for a company to come in to have their name and brand associated with a real success story for the town.

Chairman of the club, Terry O’Brien and player Kieran Donaghy went on Radio Kerry this morning to appeal for a company to come in for at least the rest of this season to help the club continue the success it’s been enjoying on the court. They both expressed sympathy for Irish TV workers who could lose their jobs after it was recommended offices in Kerry, Tyrone, New York and London close down.
There has been up to 1,000 people attending the home games at Tralee Sports and Leisure Centre so far this season, with the venue at capacity 40 minutes before tip-off.
The Warriors next game is on Saturday at 8pm at home in Tralee against Eanna BC. People are advised to turn up at least an hour before the game if they want to get in.
