MADDENS on Milk Market Lane continues to hold unique events and next week is no exception.
Next Thursday, December 12, visitors to the cafe/shop will be treated to a very special performance of ‘A Christmas Carol’ by the fireside.
This rehearsed reading of the classic story of Scrooge is arranged and devised by local man, James Finnegan and will be delivered by him in the style that Charles Dickens performed readings on tours around Europe and America.
With music from the wonderfully talented Owen Rua, it’s set to be a special evening. Tickets for the evening cost €5 for adults while children go free.
