TRALEE Tidy Towns are hosting a Pop Up Repair Café this Saturday from 10am to 4pm in Maddens of Milk Market Lane to help people mend or refresh belongings to extend their lifespan.

It can often seem easier to throw away a damaged item than attempt to repair it. Sometimes, even if you want to repair or refurbish things but you’re not used to it, getting over the initial hurdle of getting started can be challenging as you mightn’t know what to do or where to start.

According to Anne-Marie Fuller of Tralee Tidy Towns – “That’s where Repair Cafes come in. They are a safe and sociable space where people can come to learn how to repair and refurbish things together”.
