A Very Special Wine Weekend At The Dingle Skellig Hotel

The Coastguard Restaurant in the Dingle Skellig Hotel will host a very special event in October.

WHILE many people head to Dingle in early October for their famous Food Festival, it may be worth waiting for this instead a couple of weeks later, especially if you like wine, great food and luxury!

This October, the Dingle Skellig Hotel are pleased to welcome a very special guest at their annual Wine Weekend.

Taking place on October 19 the Spanish vineyard House of Vina Hermosa will have an expert from the Rioja region in attendance.

On Saturday night guests are in for a very special treat. Overlooking Dingle bay, the AA Rosette awarded Coastguard Restaurant is the setting for their Winemaker’s Dinner.

Hosted by a Rioja winemaker from House of Vina Hermosa in association with Christy’s Wines and Spirits this exclusive meal will include an arrival reception and an insight into the workings and varieties from House of Vina Hermosa Spain.

The extensive menu will feature 7 courses, with each course accompanied by a carefully selected wine.

The weekend, all based in the four star Dingle Skellig Hotel, against a backdrop of stunning scenery will make for a unique breakaway to the stunning foodie destination of Dingle town.

This exclusive break costs from €249pps which includes 2 nights’ accommodation with full Irish breakfast each morning, winemaker’s dinner and full use of the leisure club and Peninsula spa facilities as well as a special free gift with purchase from The Little Cheese Shop Dingle.
