FROM the cold to the wind.

There was a Status Yellow alert for snow and ice for most of last week, but we really didn’t get it too bad around the Tralee area.

Now it’s the wind we’re being warned about as Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow – Weather Advisory for all of Ireland. The say it’ll be very windy on Friday with possibly storm force winds along parts of the coast.

The warning is valid from 6am on Friday until 8pm that night. Meanwhile, the forecast is for it to be cold with bright spells and scattered showers on Saturday, so bring the raincoat and woolly hat to Austin Stack Park for the Kerry match.
