THERE’s just a few days to go until a great night out for music fans when ‘Ballyroe Goes Retro’.

With the Festival over, it’ll make an ideal substitute for ‘Locals Night’ which was held in the Dome and saw hundreds of people from town see the Festival out with a bang.

Taking place at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel, the fundraising concert in aid of Recovery Haven will be headlined by local band Phil N The Blanks featuring Mike Leahy, Damian Greer, Wesley Hanbidge and well known singer Caitriona O’Sullivan.

Kicking off from 6pm, it will also feature Sunset Soul with Molly Kate Brosnan and DJ Donal playing all the retro classics.

Promoter Terence Crean is encouraging everyone to dress up for the occasion, whether it’s 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, noughties or any other style or character you like, which should make for a colourful night out with fantastic music.

Proceeds from the show, which is sponsored by Cara Credit Union and Medical 4 U, will go towards Recovery Haven Kerry and tickets (€35) can be bought from Ballyroe Heights Hotel. Group tickets can be purchased from Terence Crean on 0857348836.
