Launching the Tralee International Bridge Congress at Manor West Hotel were Mayor of Tralee, Terry O’Brien, Noel Lee of Manor West Hotel, Junior Locke of St Vincent de Paul, Trish Stack, Tom Hardiman and Nicky Fitzgibbon of the Tralee International Bridge Congress.
THE annual Tralee International Bridge Congress which takes place at the end of this month was launched on Monday and is set to provide a welcome economic boost to the town.
Launching the event, Mayor Terry O’Brien said that the Bridge Congress was a big boost to the town bringing returning hundreds of card players from home and abroad for the four day event.
He congratulated Congress President Nicky Fitzgibbon and the committee and he wished all visitors a enjoyable visit to Kerry.

The 39thTralee International Bridge Congress 2016 will take place from Friday, December 30 to Monday, January 2 and will be held at the Manor West Hotel in Tralee.
It commences on Friday with Mixed Pairs Novice and Open Pairs at 7.15pm followed on Saturday at 1pm with Gala Pairs, a fabulous New Year’s Eve dinner with Piano music singing in the new year.
There will be a novice prize in all Intermediate and open pairs . On Sunday at 11pm a two session ‘Home Instead’ sponsored Congress Pairs for the Marie Fleming Cup has a first prize of €400.
There is a €400 1st prize for the Intermediate Pairs competition. On Monday Congress teams 11am and Open Pairs 12.30pm.
The final event of the evening at 7.30pm will be a charity fundraiser in aid of St Vincent de Paul sponsored by Manor West Hotel.
