WITH the freezing temperatures, it’s no surprise that another Status Yellow – Low Temperature/Ice warning has been issued for tonight and Tuesday morning by Met Éireann.
It will be very cold again this evening, tonight and on Tuesday morning with severe frost and icy stretches. It will be coldest over the southern half of the country and the Tralee area will see temperatures as low as -3°c.
This may result in difficult travelling conditions, low temperature issues for vulnerable people and animal welfare issues. The warning is valid from 6pm this evening to 11am on Tuesday. Tomorrow will be another cold but sunny day with temperatures no higher than 4°c.
