MET Eireann has issued a Status Yellow Snow-Ice warning for Kerry and Cork until this evening.

They say a mix of sleet and snow showers could lead to accumulations causing disruption today. The warning is valid from this morning to 6pm this evening.

However, looking at the forecast for the Tralee area on the Met Eireann website, it looks like it will be a showery afternoon with temperatures no lower than 5°c during this period while it will get colder tonight.

Tomorrow will be another cold day but with more spells of dry weather and Friday will see a slight rise in temperatures with a few showers.
