AFTER the heavy rain of the past couple of days, Met Eireann says we’re not out of the woods yet when it comes to wet weather.

Met Eireann says there will be heavy downpours with further accumulations of rain resulting in possible localised flooding, reduced visibility and dangerous road conditions.

The warning is valid from 6pm on Thursday for 24 hours to 6pm on Friday. The rain will persist over Friday night in Tralee but there is relatively better news on the weather front for the weekend.

It should be mainly dry on Saturday with the chance of an odd shower and while Sunday will be a drier day, temperatures won’t go above double figures.
