Another Weather Warning Issued By Met Éireann

ANOTHER Status Yellow  Low Temperature/Ice warning for Ireland has been issued by Met Éireann.

Met Éireann says icy stretches will lead to hazardous travelling conditions, especially on untreated roads and paths.

There’ll be wintry showers in the northwest and southwest. Accumulations are possible, especially in mountainous areas, leading to disruption. The warning is valid from 4pm today to 12 noon on Tuesday.

In the Tralee area, sleet or snow is possible later this evening and into the early hours of Tuesday. It will be very cold too with temperatures as low as -1ºC. Tomorrow looks mostly dry but more precipitation is expected on Tuesday evening.

With a Weather Advisory in place for Ireland until Thursday, expect more weather warnings as the week goes on.
