PEIL FAOI 6/8/10: Our end-of-year Award Presentations and Club Calendar ’17 Launch will take place in the Clubhouse at 11am on SUNDAY next (18ú Nollaig). Our 2017 calendar will cost only €5 this weekend and it will also be on sale in Kevin Barry’s Shop and at the Clubhouse. Please support this venture as all profits will be spent on your/our youngsters. Fáilte roimh gach duine…peileadóirí, tuismitheoirí, caomhnóirí, gaolta, cairde agus faithful fans.

CISPHEIL FAOI 12: Still more basketball skills/games at 6pm on THURSDAY (15ú) in the Moyderwell School Gym, An Bóthar Buí. The boys are really enjoying the sessions and their fitness has even improved; they’ll be really ‘flying’ when the new season commences.

PEIL FAOI 13/14: The Under 14 panelists will have their Award Presentation night at 6.45pm this SATURDAY (17ú Nollaig) in the clubhouse and the club calendar will be on sale. This was a tremendous year for the Under 14 footballers as they did the ‘clean sweep’ in winning the County, the Central and the Town Titles. The Under 13s also had a brilliant season; they swept the Lee Strand, the Rose Cup and the Town League Tournaments. What players we have! Stars of the future!

PEIL FAOI 15/16: Medal Presentations for the Under 15/16 lads will take place this FRIDAY (16úNollaig) in the clubhouse. These players were winners of the Central League as well as the Town Board (Roinn 2) and Under 15 County SuperTouch Competition. Well done, boys, and bain súp agus sult as an ócáid. Beidh féilire ’17 an chlub ar díol ar €5.

PEIL FAOI 16½: ‘Well done’ to all our club lads who were involved in the final of the Dunloe Cup (Kerry) Competition on Wednesday (14ú Nollaig). It was an all-Tralee affair between two good teams – The Green CBS and Mercy Mounthawk. The excitement!! The Rock lads on the Mercy Mounthawk panel: Leon Shalamba, Pádraic Ó Lionnáin, Donagh Mac Mathúna, Dara de Barra-Breathnach, Mícheál Ó Gadhra, Craig Ó Tíocháin. The Rock boys on the CBS panel: David Couchman, David Oba, Dean Ó Scanláin, Eoghan Ó Cearúill, Seán Cuiltéir, Daniel Ó Ruairc, Conchúr Ó Mír, Fearghal Ó Briain.

DÍLSEACHT: We salute our dedicated mentors who put so much time into club activities and who work so hard. It’s possible that some club workers will have attended 3 or even 4 juvenile events before the weekend is over!! And this is the ‘closed’ season!

SCÓR na nÓG: ‘Well done’ to all the Kerry performers who took part in the Munster semi-finals of Scór na nÓg (GAA) on Sunday last. The following items were successful and will advance to the Munster finals which will commence at 2pm on Sunday January 8th in the Community Centre, Oven, Co. Cork: léiriú (Na Gaeil – the only Tralee area club to get through), rince foirne (Spá), aithriseoireacht (Firies), bailéadghrúpa (Gleann Fleisce), grúpa ceoil (B/donoghue), an seit (Spá).

TEISTEANNA NA NOLLAG: Good wishes to all our players in their Christmas exams. Gach dea-ghuí orthu siúd a bheidh ag déanamh scrúduithe Nollag!
