SENIOR FOOTBALL: With South Kerry still in the Co. Championship – their semi final replay against Dr. Crokes goes ahead next Sunday (3rd Nov) – then our last round Co. League game of the season, away to St. Marys, will not go ahead as scheduled next Sunday.

And with Crokes also still involved we will not know for definite if we will be involved in the Munster Championship. Wayne and his colleagues are preparing of course for such an eventuality and we know now that either Crokes or ourselves will have an away semi final against Nemo Rangers on 17th November.

JOHN LYNCH MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT: Another brilliantly-run Tournament in memory of the late John Lynch (Club Vice Chairman 1984-1989 and father of recent Club Chairman, Liam) went off without a hitch in Caherslee and Connolly Park last Saturday *26th October).

This, the 5th Annual event, saw 32 teams participating (16 Clubs proving two teams each) . As well as ourselves there were five other Clubs from Kerry taking part – Ardfert, Churchill, Kenmare, Laune Rangers and Legion, and the other ten Clubs came from seven different counties – 3 from Cork (Ballincollig, Glanmire and St. Finbarrs), 2 from Dublin (Kilmacud Crokes and Templeogue), and one each from Clare (Doora Barefield), Galway (Oranmore), Kildare (Naas), Limerick (Mungret) and Sligo (Naomh Molaise Gaels). See Juvenile Notes and Liam’s Report on the Website for more details.
