Austin Stacks CrestHURLING: Our 126 km (80 miles) round trip to the Killeedy Hurling Club at Raheenagh (West Limerick) didn’t materialize last Sunday as the Munster Council took heed of the weather warnings surrounding Hurricane Clodagh and postponed our quarter final clash against Cork’s Shanballymore.
The game has been rescheduled for next Sunday (6th Dec) at the same venue for a 1pm throw-in.

SENIOR FOOTBALL: Our Footballers are also on duty next Sunday (6th Dec) when they play Killarney Legion to determine who qualifies for this season’s Co. League Final against Dr. Crokes. As we write, we still have to be notified of a venue for the game against Legion. Throw in 2pm. We now understand that the 2015 Co. League Final will be postponed to a date in 2016.
The Co. Championship relegation play-off, against Laune Rangers, is due to go ahead on the following weekend (12th/13th Dec).

MINOR FOOTBALL: We also await a date for our Minor Central League semi final tie against An Ghaeltacht. Dingle will play the winners in the Final.

U21 FOOTBALL: Likewise, no date or venue has been fixed for the U21F Co. Club Final (Shield Section) between ourselves and Templenoe.

BEST OF LUCK: to former Club Chairman and current Co. Board Delegate, Jim Naughton, who takes part in the RTE TV’s Winning Streak Programme on next Saturday Night.

CONGRATULATIONS: to Joanne Flynn (daughter of Joe & Breda) and David Cunningham who were married last Thursday.

BINGO: continues on this and every Saturday night commencing at 8.30pm.

CLUBHOUSE: As always the Clubhouse is available for all types of Parties. For Bookings phone Des at 066 7126942 after 8pm any evening.

CARDS: The 45 Card Sessions continue in the Clubhouse every Monday and Thursday Nights, commencing at 9.30pm each night.
