SCÓR na nÓG: Come on, The Rock! How about taking part in Scór? Scór competitions:Singing (one song), Quiz, Recitation or Story, Ballad Group (2 songs with harmony), Music Group (two tunes), Léiriú (Sketch), Figure Dance and Set Dance. The Kerry finals of Scór na nÓg are scheduled for Saturday 19th March. Scór rules and information may be read on kerrygaa.ie.

PEIL FAOI 7 (born 2015/16/17): Our 7th Under 7 football session will take place at 11.00am on Sunday next (6th) in the CBS PRIMARY School i gCluain na Lobhar. Fáilte mhór roimh dhaoine nua. Many thanks to Cluain na Lobhar CBS and to Scoil Eoin in Balluamhnach for facilitating our club’s indoor sessions. We are hoping, weather permitting, to be able to train outdoors from Sunday March 20th.

PEIL FAOI 9 (born 2013/14): The Under 9 boys will have their seventh session of this season on The Green Astroturf pitch at the early time of 10.00am on Sunday next (6th). Mighty footballers in this U9 group! Mórbhuíochas to the CB Primary School management, to the management of Balloonagh Primary School and to the management of The Green CBS for so generously allowing us to use their excellent facilities. We are hopeful, má bhíonn an aimsir go maith, to be able to train outdoors on green grass from March 20th (Sunday).

PEL FAOI 11 (born 2011/12): (i) The Under 11 boys will again train at 11.00am on the Astroturf at The Green CBS on Sunday next, 6ú Márta. More great football will be seen and excitement mounts as we prepare for our big important games: County League….(a) Round 1 on April 14th….(b) Phase 2 on June 2nd. Sunday March 20th, weather permitting, has been earmarked for the start of our outdoor green grass sessions. Thanks to the CBS Secondary School management for permitting us to use its great facility.

PEIL FAOI 13: (i) The Tralee Town Board U13 football activities will begin on Sunday next, March 6th. Expect text. This series of games (circa 3 weeks) will prepare us for our County League matches. Please ensure, boys, that you have paid your membership fee prior to the commencement of games. (ii) (a) Round 1 of our County League will take place on March 27th. Fixtures: Division 2 (15-a-side) teams….AdeS A, An Ghaeltacht, Ballymacelligot, Kilcummin, Legion, Na Gaeil. Division 10 (11/13/15-a-side) teams….AdeS B, An Ghaeltacht B, Ballymacelligot B, Kilcummin B, Legion C, Na Gaeil B. (b) Phase 2 will be played on 22nd May.

PEIL FAOI 15: (i) Training will take place on Sunday next in the Bishop’s Field from 2.30pm to 4pm. Training will also be held on the MTU Astroturf from 7.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday. Other weekday sessions vary….depending on the availability of pitches. It is expected that our interclub games will be played on Wednesdays. (ii) Our County League matches will take place from 30th March (round 1) to 27th April. Division 1A (15-a-side) teams….AdeS, An Ghaeltacht, Glenflesk, Na Mistéalaigh, An Léigiún, An Spá (Cill Airne). Division 9 (11/13/15-a-side) teams…AdeS B, Firies B, Kilcummin B, Legion B, Listowel Emmets B. The semi-finals will take place on 4th or 11th May and the finals will be on 11th or 18th May. (iii)The Central Region games are expected to be from 22nd June to 20th July. (iv) The County Championship dates have yet to be fixed. (v) Like to be part of this panel of Rock players?
