A BALLYHEIGUE woman scooped €68,000 in prizes on the Winning Streak RTE gameshow on Saturday night.

Julie (40), a team supervisor for a company calling Cullen Cleaning, was supported in Dublin by her son Alex (21) and daughter and Leanne (13) among other friends and family.

She has six siblings – brothers John, Michael and France, and sisters Maggie, Annmarie and Mary (currently in Australia).

Julie enjoyed the craic with host Marty Whelan telling him she was up in Dublin for the All Ireland Final last week. She also mentioned her late parents Peg and Timmy on the show.

Julie, who bought her winning ticket at Brendan Moriarty’s Centra in Ballyheigue, was hoping to win a car on the show but that shouldn’t be a problem now after winning the cash prizes and a holiday to Stockholm.
