Ballymac were away to John Mitchels on Wednesday last in the County League. This was a must win game for Ballymac who had no points coming into this game. David Rogers was first to score with a goal for Ballymac , this was quickly followed with a point from play by Tadgh Brick. John Mitchels settled and went on to score 3 goals and 2 points without answer from Ballymac. Daire Keane and Michael Kelliher exchanged points. Daire Keane went on to score two more points to Mitchels one to leave the half time score at John Mitchels 3.4 to Ballymac 1.4

Ballymac produced a great second half display and scored nine times before Mitchels registered a score. Ballymac scores came from Josh O Keeffe 0.1 , David Rogers 1.1 , Daire Keane 0.2 , Barry Lyons 2.1 and Cillian Gallagher 0.1, Mitchels scored 2.1 in the second half to leave their final score at 5.5. Kerins O Rahillys v Ballymac
Ballymac played their final round game against KOR on Friday last in Ballyrickard at 7.30. KOR had only 14 players so this was a 14 aside game. The first half was very much an even affair with both teams scoring point for point. Midway through the half the scores were level at 5 points a piece. KOR were playing with the aid of a strong breeze in this half and went on to score four more points before the half time whistle. Ballymac registered two more points to leave the half time score at KOR 0.9 to Ballymac 0.7

The second half belonged to Ballymac and they made good use of the strong breeze. They had 1.2 scored before the home side replied with two points. Ballymac piled on the pressure and registered score after score without reply from the home side. Ballymac ended on a final score of 2.15 to KOR 0.13.

These valuable two points meant Ballymac ended up with four points and qualified for a semi final spot. This semi final will be against Na Gaeil on Wednesday night at 7 in Na Gaeil pitch. All support appreciated.
