Tralee Central Hotel
THE Tralee Central Hotel in Maine Street, which was sold recently, is under the ownership of Boyle Brothers.
According to a spokesperson for the company, it’s hoped the hotel will re-open in March next year following significant refurbishing and rebranding.
Boyle Brothers already own and operate the Manor West Hotel and now add the Maine Street property to their portfolio.
Formerly known as the Tralee Central Hotel (and before that as the Abbey Gate Hotel) it was placed on the market with a price tag of €1m back in May.
The sale was negotiated by Ger Carmody Auctioneers.
The 100-bed hotel closed down at the beginning of this year, and was being sold on behalf of the receiver Crowe Howarth.
