A STATEMENT released on the Kerry GAA website has announced that Paul Galvin has come out of retirement and returned to training with the Kerry senior football panel.
Eamonn Fitzmaurice, confirmed the shock return of Paul Galvin in a short and sweet statement on the Kerry GAA website.
“Paul Galvin has re-joined the Kerry Senior Football squad and resumed training this evening” Fitzmaurice says.
The 35 year old had retired from inter-county football in February last year after 11 seasons with Kerry where he picked up four All-Ireland medals and the All Stars Footballer of the Year award in 2009.
It’s not yet known if the Finuge man will run out on Sunday and face old acquaintances Cork in the national league.
It would be some return!
