A HUGE amount of money was presented to the Kerry Hospice Foundation on Tuesday thanks to a fundraiser held in memory of an Ardfert woman.

A charity walk to remember Betty McGrath was held from the Junction Bar in Camp on Saturday, September 10 which saw a large crowd of family and friends of Betty take part.

Betty was known to many through her florist business in Listowel town. She passed away on September 14, 2021 in the Palliative Care Unit at UHK.

The family wanted to give something back after the amazing care she received and organised a charity walk which raised over €26,2030 on a gofundme page. The Moriarty and McGrath families thanked everyone for donating and taking part in the walk.
