A RECENT Cheltenham preview night in Blennerville once again raised funds for a worthy  cause this month.

Skelper Quanes traditional night of tips and fun was held in aid of Kerry Hospice this year and raised €1,845 for the organisation. The night of Thursday, March 2, was a huge success as usual with MC Pat Healy interviewing famed trainer Tom Cooper, his son Bryan Cooper, fellow jockeys Philip Enright, Paddy Kennedy and bookie Berkie Browne about the festival.

Tom Quane presented the cheque on Thursday to representatives from Kerry Hospice with PRO Andrea O’Donoghue expressing her thanks to everybody who contributed and, of course, to Tom who is a great supporter of local Hospice fundraising events.
