IF you want to get involved in cleaning up our lovely coastline this weekend, then this is a great way to do it.
As part of the CleanCoasts Big Beach Clean Weekend, Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre will be running a cleanup of the area behind the windmill at Blennerville.
Slí na nÉin is a fantastic area for birdwatching, but is sadly blighted by not only the rubbish washing in from the sea, but also illegally dumped household waste.
You can meet with the rest of the team at the carpark by the windmill at 10am, all gear will be provided. There’ll be tea and biscuits back at the Wetlands Centre afterwards.
