“It is a difficult time for us all but also a time to reach out and try to give something back,” said Colm. “By utilising the skills I have acquired in life I hope I can do my bit to assist businesses that are going to struggle to continue to trade over the coming months.”

“Kerrymade is an online shop specifically for companies that make their own products in the county and there won’t be any charge to get your products listed. However I am also glad to assist anyone trying to get an online shop up and running quickly or indeed to review the efforts of those that already have an online store but feel like they could be getting more business,” he added.

Colm’s company, Purchase.ie have also introduced a novel approach to dealing with the current Covid Crisis in Ireland.

“When we pack orders for Irish based customers now we are sticking a label on the package that says ‘Covid 19 – You will never beat the Irish!””

“We are hoping this message just gives our customers and indeed courier drivers throughout Ireland a boost or just makes them smile even for a fleeting moment at this difficult time”.
