A LOCAL construction firm are seeking to renew planning permission to build houses in a Tralee estate.

Permission to build 14 new houses in Clashlehane Meadows in Ballinorig is being put forward to Kerry County Council by Gerard Griffin Construction.

Clashlehane Meadows, which is located between the entrance of Lee Drive and the railway crossing in Ballinorig currently has 37 houses in the development.

The application comprises of 12 townhouses and two semi-detached houses. A planning decision for the  development will be made on April 28.
